Carboxymethyl glucan (CMG) is a kind of water-soluble polysaccharides.
 
1 CMG is the partly carboxymethylated yeast beta-glucan, which can be dissolved in water. It can be used in food, cosmetics and other fields, especially in the field of cosmetics, carboxymethyl dextran is widely used.
